This panel
painting features three geometric panels painted
with a warm color pallet. This piece has a
wonderful glow and the various shapes of the leaves
and bird of paradise flowers provides many places
for the eye to travel. The edges are painted

"This painting was the first geometric panel
piece that I have done for a floral painting.
I abstracted the background foliage which adds
interest the piece and I kept the actual bird of
paradise flowers somewhat realistic (albeit they are
still somewhat stylized using color). I enjoy
using different color intensities to bring the
foreground birds out even against a very busy
background."
