The Festive One
This original abstract painting
is painted on textured panel and features raised
curved section through center of the painting.
The edges are gallery wrapped and measure up to
2-1/4" in thickness so the piece has a nice
substantial feel to it. The painting continues
around the edges which adds to the contemporary feel
of the piece and does not require framing.
"During the creation of this painting it began to
evolve in to fun and cheerful piece. It is
important when working on an abstract piece to let
the painting evolve on it's own and to let go of
some of the control which has typically been engrained in a more
classical style of painting."
