Fountain of Youth
This original abstract painting
is painted on textured panel and features thick
gallery wrapped edges. Guy used fluid
acrylics to achieve the dynamic streams of color
and also used a glazing technique to bring out
geometric shapes in the background. A frame
is not necessary with this piece as the painting continues
around the edges.
"I very much enjoyed the process of making
this abstract. It reminded me of being a kid
and just going for it (and also summertime as a
kid playing on the yellow Slip n Slide on the
grass with the sprinklers going..."
