Together Forever This piece was commissioned by
Tim and Leanne Calibaba. They wanted a honu
panel painting with a color palette similar to the
piece, Maui Ensnares the Sun.
Some rough layout sketches were drawn for the
overall shape of the piece and one was chosen for
the final painting. My message to Tim and
Leanne:
"I kept the colors warm towards the center
which draws the eye in, but also represents the
warmth and comfort that you two bring to each other.
No matter what is going on in the outside world,
when you two are together, you will provide warmth
and light for each other. I really enjoyed working
on your painting and I hope that when you look at
Together Forever, it will remind you both of the
eternal connection that you have with each other."
